The Style Edit: Paris

This is going to be a very quick post just to show you a few key pieces I wore whilst in the most amazing City in the world, Paris!

I had to juggle classy with casual because my mum had warned me that we would be doing a lot of walking, and so comfort was a must! I opted to bring my boyfriend coat, the weather was pretty hot however on a few days it rained and was quite breezy so this was the perfect item to keep me feeling cosy and looking somewhat stylish for the fashion capital. I tried to keep it quite casual with day wear, most days I wore my black jeans, or my blue and white Top shop ones with rips at the knees alongside a comfy and cute knitted top.

I also brought along my leather trousers from H&M, which I loooove, I wore these for the evening of the Moulin Rouge to keep my outfit quite classy, I have to admit, I'm not really a girl who's into my dresses and colour, I prefer the more tomboy, monochrome, put-together look (blame Victoria Beckham!) For shoes I lived in my Nike free runners, we walked about 5 miles (no exaggeration) everyday so comfy shoes were a necessity, and these trainers looked cute but more over they are the comfiest shoe EVER. I also brought my black chunky boots for nights out and dinner.

I think my style has changed quite dramatically over the past year, I use to love getting all kinds of cool and quirky items and being 'down with the kids' as they say, but since finishing UNI and turning 21 my style has evolved, and i'm more into buying simple and good quality pieces, as apposed to the girly girl look. I know the whole tomboy/androgynous thing is probably the biggest man repeller out there, but I think if you feel good in what you wear that's all that matters.
